How to use game controllers on BlueStacks?
Plug in the USB cable or receiver into the computer. You will get a notification on BlueStacks as soon as you connect a compatible controller in your computer as shown below. BlueStacks will show a controller icon below the icon of every game in ‘Home’ and the App Center, which is playable with a gamepad controller. BlueStacks creates and provides game-specific gamepad controls for most popular games, which can be checked either by using “Ctrl+Shift+H” keys or by clicking “keyboard control UI” icon from the bottom-right side icon of BlueStacks. On launching a game, control guidance window will come up automatically. Please click edit from the top right corner to begin editing by assigning keys from the gamepad.
Introducing custom FPS (frames per second) feature on BlueStacks
FPS constitutes as to how many frames (images) your monitor is displaying each second. The higher the FPS, the smoother and more responsive the game will seem. BlueStacks now gives you a choice to set FPS from settings. To set a custom FPS, please navigate to settings from the drop-down menu and go to ‘Engine’. The slider adjacent to FPS will let you set a custom FPS as desired. The changes will get applied on relaunching BlueStacks. The default FPS is set to 60 for all instances, however, you may choose to customize it as desired using the available slider.
